So, I thought about it....for a very long time, and I decided, why not right?
Soon, not yet, but soon, I will be uploading a video of how I do photoshop =)
It's just a rough piece, so no, you don't get all my tricks yet XD but this is a
generic, step by step, of what I do from sketch to final.

Thought I'd put it up for a giggle...and to show my drawing short hand. This is how i sketch =P Its not super pretty, but you can tell whats what. I feel like it works =)

Quick Of The Day

December 2nd

So I decided to practice a new style of shading with this really really quick sketch. I think it took me all of 40mins from start to finish. The original sketch may have taken 10mins....
Not sure what I think of shading this way, however, it definitely pulls the picture together more when I shade it like this...

Well, dont be too rough on her. She'll light orb your face off =)

Practice. Practice, PRACTICE!!!

So, Jon and I have started watching "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" and I know what you're thinking...that sounds rediculous.
However MLP:FIM has been one of those shows that makes sure to include plenty of "parent humor" so that way, we as older people, can enjoy the show too!
So, if you get a minute, you should check it out! Like any tv show, don't judge it by its opening credits or by only the first episode. You gotta watch at least 5 of any show to know if it's decent or crap.

Anyways, with that out of the way, I been doing pony sketches to practice my posing ability, facial structure as well as speed tests. So, these were relatively quick sketches, that had no time for refinement.

Character Exploration

I had to create 4 very different, very distinct characters, based a bit off of North, East, South and West (directions).

Apparently I did it wrong, because I guess no one got it. =/

Anyways, I thought the drawings themselves turned out well, so I thought I'd put them up, along with their bios, if anyone would like them. They were fun.

Another attempt at League of Legends photoshop skills.
Yes. the topper and the "Stats" are not mine, they are L.O.L.
But I wanted it to look legitimate. I hope it does, except the background,
because I had no idea waht to do for a background...I'm not very good at
that part.

Anyways, if your interested in all teh steps, post and Ill put up the steps,
but there are a lot, over 30 saves of this puppy, probably close to 20hours.

I did lots of character sketches and finally came up with the style, its very different than my normal, take 15hours work. I keep the sketching lines in, just for fun and FLAT shade.

It's rather "boring" compared to other work *see dragon photoshop*

It's for authors all over, including myself, we all are similar in our way of painting words in our books in a very "fluid" speech. So I figured, play on words?

EZER UPDATE!!

Well I keep getting more and more excited the closer we get to releasing!!!

I can barely keep enthusiasm down as I pose the two characters together in a scene...first real pass with the two of them...ever.

They've been modeled, sculpted, painted and rigged separately...and now they finally meet!

It's super exciting! Animation starts MONDAY =DDD
